Mississippi Tax Registration

Helpful links to register for Mississippi withholding and unemployment accounts

Mississippi Department of Revenue (Income Withholding)

  1. Go to https://tap.dor.ms.gov/_/#1
  2. Click on Apply for Tax Accounts, Liquor Permits, Amusement Decals
  3. Click on Register a New Taxpayer
  4. Complete all the registration information. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mississippi directly at 601-923-7700
  5. Once Mississippi has assigned you a withholding account, Fuse will need:
    1. your account ID
    2. your filing frequency
  6. Forward all of the above items to support@fuseworkforce.com

Mississippi Department of Employment Security (Unemployment)

  1. Go to https://mdes.ms.gov/employers/register-with-us/
  2. Click on Register a New Business
  3. Complete all the registration information. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mississippi directly at 601-321-6000
  4. Once Mississippi has assigned you an employment account, Fuse will need:
    1. your account ID
    2. your unemployment rate
    3. a completed Power of Attorney (for online access)
  5. Forward your account ID and unemployment rate to Fuse at support@fuseworkforce.com and request a pre-filled Power of Attorney so we can get access to your account!
