OSHA Reporting in Fuse

How to run OSHA reports in the Fuse Workforce Management System

System Requirements

  • Ensure employees have Workers Compensation codes and have been reporting OSHA workers' claims in the system
  • Ensure the OSHA Recordable checkbox is selected in Workers Claims when applicable.

Best Practices

  • Always Save before using Populate
  • Verify EIN and Pay Period selections carefully, especially for mutli-EIN organizations
  • Use Finalize only after thoroughly reviewing the form.
  • Include inactive EINs when reporting prior-year data for compliance

OSHA Form 300

The OSHA 300 form is an annual log of work-related injuries and illnesses for a selected year.

  1. Navigate to Team > HR > Forms > Government Forms > OSHA 300
  2. Click Add New
  3. Type the Year onto the Form and Save
  4. Click Populate Form
    1. Select the EIN (for multi-EIN companies)
    2. Filter by Cost Centers if necessary
    3. Choose OSHA Types and whether items are OSHA reportable
    4. Click OK to populate the OSHA data from your Workers Claims
  1. Click Save
  2. Once your review is complete, select Finalize Form to lock
  3. Click Download PDF

OSHA 300A

The OSHA 300A form provides a yearly summary of injury and illness totals.

  1. Navigate to Team > HR > Forms > Government Forms > OSHA 300A
  2. Click Mass Add & Populate
    1. Select the Reporting Year. OSHA 300A can only be filed for previous calendar years.
    2. Select the EIN(s)
    3. Select the Pay Period(s)
    4. Filter by Cost Centers if necessary
    5. Choose OSHA Types and whether items are OSHA reportable
    6. Click Add & Populate
  3. View the OSHA 300A by clicking on the pencil on the appropriate row. You may need to adjust the Selected Year filter at the top of the report
  4. Review the form thoroughly before downloading or finalizing.
    1. Company Information and NAICS codes can be reviewed under Settings > Global Setup > Company Setup > Company Info Tab
    2. The OSHA 300A does not currently populate the total hours worked by all employees in the year. Go to My Saved Reports and search for the report named OSHA Hours Last Year to view the information.
  5. Once complete, select Finalize Form to lock
  6. Click Download PDF or Download CSV, depending on how you wish to file this return

OSHA 301

The OSHA 301 form documents detailed information aobut a specific work-related injury or illness.

  1. Navigate to Team > HR > Forms > Government Forms > OSHA 301
  2. Click Add New
  3. In the pop-up:
    1. Select an EIN
    2. Select the associated workers' claim
    3. Select Create OSHA 301
  4. The form will auto-populate using the data from the selected workers' claim. 
  5. Once your review is complete, select Finalize Form to lock
  6. Click Download PDF
