This article will go over when employees will see their pay statements in the Fuse Workforce Management system.
Overview
Employees cannot see their pay statements in the system until payroll is in the finalized state. There are other settings that will also drive the visibility when they are visible, and ways to block certain pay statements from their view.
Global Setup
- Go to Menu > Settings > Global Setup > Company Setup > Payroll Tab
- On the Payroll Tab, there should be a Printed Pay Statement Option widget
- Inside this widget is an Include / Exclude section with an option for Employee Can View Pay Statements. The following options are available:
- 2 Days Prior to Pay Date: This will allow employees to see their pay statements two calendar days before the payroll check date, after it is finalized.
- 1 Day Prior to Pay Date: This will allow employees to see their pay statements the day before the payroll check date, after it is finalized.
- On Pay Date: This will allow employees to see their pay statements on the payroll check date.
- Right Away: This will allow employees to see their pay statements immedidately after the payroll is finalized.
- Keep in mind that these settings can vary per EIN. If you have more than one EIN inside your company tenant, please use the EIN toggle on the top left of the screen to view the other EIN settings.
Blocking Specific Pay Statment Types
There may be instances where you need to process a payroll check that is not a Regular pay statement. If this is the case, there are ways to block this visibility from the employees, so that you can process it through payroll, but employees will not see this pay statement from the website.
- Go to Menu > Settings > Payroll Setup > Pay Statement Types
- Click the edit button on the pay statement type row
- On the top left you will see an option named Show PST's to Employee. When this box is marked, employees will be able to see this pay statement in their portal. The timing of this visibility still depends on the following:
- When payroll is finalized
- The settings under Global Setup (see above instructions)
