Compensation Cycle Issue Troubleshooting
This article will discuss troubleshooting tips for common Compensation Cycle issues.
- An employee isn't showing up in the worksheet
- View the compensation cycle to ensure this employee is not being filtered out due to other Cycle Criteria.
- The employee may be missing their compensation manager
- See Settings > Company Setup > Global Setup > HR Settings to review which of your Manager fields is used for Compensation manager trees
- You cannot bypass the manager settings. If the employee doesn't have a compensation manager entered, you will not be able to manually add them to the cycle

- Compensation Manager doesn't see any pending worksheets on their proposals report
- Ensure they are the compensation manager of the correct employees
- If the compensation manager settings were recently changed, the system works overnight to recreate worksheets based on the manager settings
- The Proposals to Approve report is blank
- Managers will only see proposals to approve when they have something to approve
- Check the workflow status of the worksheet and ensure the manager is the current approver of that worksheet
- A Super Admin can also approve proposals on the All To Do Items Report (My Info > My Reports > System Reports > System Utilities > All To Do Items).
- Proposals to Finalize report is blank
- Only the person responsible for finalizing the compensation cycle will see proposals on the finalization report, and only when cycles are ready for finalization
- Check the workflow status of the worksheet to ensure it is on the Finalization step, and that the person attempting to finalize is assigned
- A Super Admin can also finalize proposals on the All To Do Items Report (My Info > My Reports > System Reports > System Utilities > All To Do Items).
