What is Bryte AI?

Bryte AI is the AI-powered assistant built into the Fuse platform.

Instead of navigating menus or searching through multiple screens, you can simply ask Bryte AI a question in plain English.

For example:

  • "How much PTO do I have available?"
  • "Take me to Performance Reviews."

Bryte AI is completely optional.

Who can use Bryte AI?

Bryte AI is available throughout the Fuse platform.

The features available to each person depend on their security permissions and role within your organization.

Can everyone see the same information?

No.

Bryte AI follows the exact same security rules already configured within Fuse.

If someone doesn't have permission to view payroll information, employee records, or HR reports today, Bryte AI won't grant access to that information either.

Can administrators control access?

Yes.

Your administrators can determine:

  • Who can access Bryte AI
  • Which features are available
  • Which user roles can use specific AI capabilities

Can we roll Bryte AI out gradually?

Absolutely.

In fact, that's what we recommend.

Is our organization's information secure?

Yes.

Protecting your information is one of our highest priorities.

Bryte AI operates within the same enterprise-grade security framework that protects the rest of your Fuse platform.

Security measures include:

  • Secure cloud infrastructure

Does Bryte AI use our data to train public AI models?

No.

Your organization's information is never used to train public AI models.

Your data remains isolated within your own environment and is processed only to provide the Bryte AI capabilities your organization has licensed.

What information does Bryte AI process?

Bryte AI processes only the information necessary to complete your request.

Depending on what you're asking Bryte AI to do, this may include:

  • Your prompts or questions
  • Company policies
  • Documents you've made available
  • Workforce information already stored in your Fuse environment
  • Configuration information required to complete the requested task

This information is processed solely to provide Bryte AI services.

What is Google Data Loss Prevention (DLP)?

Google Data Loss Prevention (DLP) is an additional privacy safeguard used by Bryte AI.

Before information is processed, Google's DLP technology helps identify and mask sensitive information, providing another layer of protection for your organization's data.

Is our information encrypted?

Yes.

Customer data is encrypted both while it's being transmitted and while it's stored using enterprise-grade encryption technologies.

Does Bryte AI comply with privacy regulations?

Yes.

Bryte AI is designed to support compliance with major global privacy regulations, including:

  • GDPR
  • CCPA
  • LGPD

Customer information is processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the UKG Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

What security certifications support Bryte AI?

UKG maintains a comprehensive security and compliance program that includes certifications such as:

  • SOC 2
  • SOC 3
  • ISO 27001
  • ISO 27017
  • ISO 27018

UKG also continues evaluating emerging AI governance standards, including ISO 42001 and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, as part of its responsible AI strategy.

Where is our data stored?

Bryte AI operates within UKG-managed cloud infrastructure using enterprise Google Cloud services.

Customer data remains logically separated by organization, and data residency is governed by your organization's contract, applicable Data Processing Agreements, and regional privacy requirements.

Does Bryte AI use third-party AI providers?

Yes.

Bryte AI leverages Google Vertex AI and other approved subprocessors to provide its AI capabilities.

Google does not use customer information to train public AI models.

A current list of approved subprocessors is maintained by UKG.

Does Bryte AI continue learning from our organization's data?

No.

Bryte AI does not continually learn from or retrain itself using your organization's identifiable information.

Your organization's data is not used to train or fine-tune public AI models.

Can administrators update the documents Bryte AI references?

Yes.

Administrators can add, remove, or replace documents so Bryte AI always references the most current information available to your employees.

How long does it take to get started?

Because Bryte AI is built directly into the Fuse platform, enabling it is typically a straightforward process.

What rollout approach does Fuse recommend?

We've found that organizations achieve the greatest success by introducing Bryte AI in phases.
