      New York Withholding & Unemployment - Code Needed

      Fuse will need access to your NY employer tax accounts to file and pay your tax returns. Please follow the directions below to grant this access.

      Creating an Online Account (5-digit Code)

      1. Go to this URL: https://www.tax.ny.gov/online/
      2. Click the CREATE ACCOUNT button.
        1. Click on the following button:
          Employers: CREATE BUSINESS ACCOUNT
      3. Enter the displayed security code, and click Continue.
      4. If you are a business, make sure you set the I would like to gain access to the field to All available services, indicate whether or not you have received a 5-digit PIN from the New York State Tax Department, and click Continue.
      5. Respond to the prompts, and provide all the required information. During this process, you will create a user name and password for Online Services. We recommend you make a note of this information for future reference.
      6. Please provide Fuse with 5-digit PIN to set up EFT payments.

      PrompTax Access Code (6-digit Code)

      • Fuse will need your PrompTax Access Code. If you have created an account online and can provide the 5-digit code to Fuse, we can get your PrompTax code online.
      • If you are unsure of your PrompTax access code, you can request it from NY PrompTax Customer Service at 518-457-2322
