Connecticut Tax Registration

Helpful links to register for Connecticut withholding and unemployment accounts

Connecticut Department of Revenue (Income Withholding)

  1. Go to https://drs.ct.gov/eservices/_/
  2. Click New Business/Need a CT Registration Number
  3. Complete the registration. If you have any questions, please reach out directly to Connecticut at 800-297-5962
  4. Once Connecticut has processed your registration, Fuse will need the following:
    1. Your account ID
    2. Your filing frequency 
    3. Access to your account online. This access is something we will be able to request online, but we will need any letter with a letter ID included on the top right.
  5. Please forward the above items to support@fuseworkforce.com

Connecticut Department of Labor (Unemployment)

  1. Go to https://reemploycttax.dol.ct.gov/accessct/faces/login/login_local.xhtml
  2. Complete the registration. If you have any questions, please reach out to Connecticut directly at 860-263-6550
  3. Once Connecticut has processed your registration, Fuse will need the following:
    1. Your account ID
    2. Your unemployment rate
    3. Power of Attorney to gain access to your account online. Please email support@fuseworkforce.com with the above information so we can send you a pre-filled Power of Attorney.
  4. Please forward all of the above items to support@fuseworkforce.com

Connecticut Paid Family Leave

  1. Fuse will file and pay your Connecticut Paid Family Leave using your Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN), but you are still required to register with the agency.
  2. Go to https://www.ctpaidleave.org/for-businesses-and-employers/register-your-business to complete your registration.
